My avatar

About my avatar (a symbol of myself, a.k.a. my personal logo)

avatar: a graphical image that represents a person, as on the Internet (according to dictionary.com).

Avatars can be found in abundance on the internet in recent time. An avatar online is a personal expression, the persona of one in the virtual world. Avatars can be found in gaming situations, in chat rooms and in blogs.

I intend to use this image as my online avatar and as a logo to represent the ministry that I am called to. I excerpted my journal entry of 18 November 2006 below so you know how how this image came about.

Date: 18 November 2006
This morning I was at the park in front of my house. Satisfied with the bliss out of my morning walk and my prayers on the cool granite seat I stood up to do some twisting and to align myself with earth’s energy. When I was about to leave the place I looked up and there up above me was the cloud formation of a woman in a running stance.

I am enthralled. This indeed is a God moment and I figure that I could use that image for my ministry’s logo. It is freeing, it is active, it is dancing to the joy of life. It is abstract and it embodies living life to the fullest. Praise be to God!

[The image was created with Artrage, a free software painting programme.
